On Wednesday, May 30th, FWC invites you to our REALIFE Block Party with free food, live music, inflatables and more! This is the perfect opportunity to bring a friend or co-worker to visit our church! It all starts at 7:00pm and we encourage you to wear your “Ask Me About My Church” shirts! Since this event is outdoors, we encourage you to come prepared and bring a lawn chair if you’d like!

This Mother’s Day, FWC will be thanking our moms like never before so make plans to join us! With gifts for every mom and special giveways, we invite all moms to enjoy this celebration at FWC. Also, we’ve set up photo booths for moms and their families to create a lasting memory of this special day!

Mother’s Day is May 13th and our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30am. Photos will be taken 30 minutes prior to service and 30 minutes after so make plans now to be here early!

On Sunday, May 20th, Pastor Steve wants to baptize everyone who is ready to make a public confession of their faith!  Baptism Sunday will be a special day for those who have just recently committed their lives to Christ, re-dedicated their lives, or those who have never been baptized.  No matter where you’re at, if you want to tell the world that you’re in love with Jesus, don’t miss this opportunity!  We’re kicking off our service at 10:30am so come early and get a great seat!

What do I need to be baptized?

- Bring your own towel
- Bring a change of clothes
- Wear something that isn’t too revealing or see-through
- Be prayed up!

It’s not required, but we’d like to know ahead of time if you plan to be baptized.  Please call us at (843) 661-0343 or email us at FrontDesk@fwcflorence.com.  By notifying us, we can have your baptism certificate prepared on May 20th or very soon after.  Thanks!

On Sunday, May 27th at 10:30am, Family Worship Center will celebrate Pentecost Sunday! This awesome Sunday is a commemoration and celebration of the receiving of the Holy Spirit by the early church. Throughout May, Pastor Steve McCartt will be teaching on the Holy Spirit so don’t miss a service!

John the Baptist prophesied of the first Pentecost where Jesus would baptize with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matthew 3:11). Jesus confirmed this prophesy with the promise of the Holy Spirit to the disciples in John 14:26. Jesus showed Himself to these men after His death on the cross and His Resurrection, giving convincing proofs that He was alive. Jesus told the disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Father’s gift of the Holy Spirit, from whom they would receive power to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:3-8). After Jesus’ ascension to heaven, the men returned to Jerusalem and joined together in prayer in an upper room. On the Day of Pentecost, just as promised, a wind filled the house and tongues of fire came to rest on each of them and all were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues. After the coming of the Holy Spirit, the disciples did not stay in the room basking in God’s glory but burst out to tell the world. This was the beginning of the Church as we know it and it continues today as His Word says: “For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. (Acts 2:39)”

Don’t miss out on this incredible Sunday as we make a joyful noise to the Lord and thank Him for sending us the Holy Spirit! FWC will celebrate the Holy Ghost as the omnipresent person of God!

Easter is a celebration of God sending his Son, Jesus, for us! The theme for this year’s Easter services is The Answer and we’d love to have you join us at our church! Do you have little ones? We’ve got the biggest Easter Egg Hunt you’ll ever see and it’s just for your children on this special day (11:00 am service only)!

Also, Easter is one of the best times of the year for you to invite a friend. A lot of people who don’t normally come to church will consider coming simply because it’s Easter. So, talk to your friends, coworkers, and family and invite them to join you at FWC! We will have 2 identical services for them to check out on Sunday, April 8th at 9:00* or 11:00 am.

*Our 9:00am service will have nurseries only, no Celebration or Bible Explorers.
Grades 4k-6th will join us in the main sanctuary during the 9am service.

His weekly telecast is seen in over 100 nations and God’s worked countless miracles through this ministry. Don’t miss out on what God’s doing at Family Worship Center!

We’ve got a jam-packed Sunday planned for our church on March 11th at 10:30am! This special day marks 12 years of our ministry in Florence, SC so we’re celebrating by breaking ground on our building expansion! Plus, we’ve got a few special surprises just for those in attendance (hint: you don’t want to miss this Sunday)!

Join us on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm as we teach Faith like you’ve never seen or heard before! At FWC Florence, our small groups meet on Wednesday nights and if you’ve never been, now is your chance! We have relevant teaching for a wide range of small groups that cover marrieds, singles, youth, children, seniors, and young adults! Don’t Have A Small Group? Click Here.

To kick off the series, we’re having a special All Church REALIFE on Feb. 22nd at 7:00pm. Each small group will come together in the main sanctuary for an interactive service with worship and a message from Pastor Steve.

We invite you to join Pastor Steve, Mrs. Amy, and the FWC Staff for this special 2 night class that will introduce you to our church. During Welcome Home, you will have an opportunity to hang out with Pastor Steve as he shares his heart and vision for Family Worship Center.

Welcome Home consists of two 1 hour meetings where you’ll get to know our church, ask questions, learn how to get involved, and much more! Each night is different, so plan on attending both 1 hour nights. We encourage you to ask questions and there will be time after each session for snacks and fellowship. Pastor Steve looks forward to seeing you on Monday, January 30th and Monday, February 6th (both sessions will be at 7:00pm in the FWC Youth Center).
